Cheryl’s educational background is in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, School Counseling, and Certification in Substance Abuse Services.
Cheryl worked as a School Counselor for 20 plus years and continues in Private Practice doing Clinical Counseling. She finds using Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focus, and Adlerian therapies to be extremely helpful with her clients.
Cheryl works with children, teens, adults, and couples, focusing on personality disorders, depression, anxiety, anger management, ADD/ADHD, drug and/or alcohol problems, issues from trauma, family of origin issues, separation disorders, relationship struggles, and parenting education.
Cheryl believes that good mental health is very important and has some control over the choices we make and the relationships in which we are involved. She feels most everyone needs help on his or her journey through life. It is her desire and pleasure to help others through their journey.
